ILLÀCHIME QUARTET (IT)

Founded in Naples by Fabrizio Elvetico and Gianluca Paladino, two musicians formerly active in the field of contemporary music, multimedia audio and sound experimentation, the Illàchime Quartet is an instrumental ensemble that joins electronics with acoustic instruments, starting from the sounds and noises gathered from the surroundings which form the texture for the interventions of the musicians along rough and terse lines, often improvised. From the interaction shape up their sound environment, in a non-accumulative, non linear manner, an organic form, result of collective composition. Their aim is to intrigue and seduce the audience by means of an unconventional, highly kinematic sonic experience.
