GHISLAIN POIRIER (CA)

Montreal native Ghislain Poirier released two critically-acclaimed
full-lengths on experimental labels 12K and Intr_version. Proving that
he is as at home with hip-hop as he is with ambient music he has been
known to perform live with French rappers. In 2003 Ghislain and Montreal
rapper Seba formed the group Nonobstant. It's a hip-hop project with
heavy dub, ragga and techno influences.
